Mr. Oncay’s Language Arts Classes
The showdown is on! Period One and Period Two are battling to find errors in the real world.
Rules:
1. The errors must occur in reputable sources. A student can not find a simple error in a note that their friend writes and try to get a point for that. It must be a printed source, like a textbook or a laminated sign on the wall at Target.
2. The errors must be submitted via email as PICTURES. Students should use their camera (phones) to take pictures and send them along. Make sure that the error is central in the picture.
3. Errors on websites do not count.
4. Errors on teacher handouts DO count, BUT only one error for each teacher allowed. Errors on teacher handouts will not be posted here.
5. The errors should be grammar or spelling errors. Occasionally points will be awarded to “typos.”
